The Eclipse is a morph exhibiting a very unique solid black eye. It was first discovered in 2004 from a random breeding and later was proven out to be a recessive trait. This trait is a valuable asset for breeders developing designer morphs because it can really alter eye coloration. For example when crossed into the Tremper strain Albino it creates a gecko with a solid red eye.  Here at The Urban Gecko we are producing Eclipse in combination with other morphs as well as pure Eclipse, which are caring no other genetic traits.
